Credentials required: The applicant should have Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification.

Area of Specialization: Motorcycle, Snowmobile, All terrain vehicle

Specific Skills: Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults, Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts, Perform scheduled maintenance and service, Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment

Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle, Drive manual transmission vehicle

Work Location Information: In shop
