Some overtime will be available. Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant. Education: The applicant should have completed high school. Experience: is an asset. Type of Sales Account: Local accounts, Key accounts Customers/clients: Industry Products/Services: Construction materials and equipment, Forestry services and products, Mining machinery/equipment, Utilities, Pulp and paper Specific Skills: Promote sales to existing clients, Assess client’s needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, Deliver sales presentations, Prepare and administer sales contracts, Utilize sales/marketing software packages, Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, Train customers’ staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment, Resolve product and service related problems, Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract) Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning Other Information: We are seeking those interested applicants with previous sales experience.
