Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 20 hour week.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Red Cross Babysitting course, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Children’s Ages: Infant (3 months - 11 months), Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years), School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Day care centre or nursery school

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Urban area

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
