Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $18.00 to $20.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Type of Paints or Coatings: Resinous, solvent drying paints, Catalyzed or polymerized paints

Type of Materials or Products: General metal products, Construction materials or coatings, Aircraft or motor vehicles

Surface Preparation Methods: Removing old coatings manually, Sandblasting, Masking

Application Methods: Hand-held spray guns

Work Setting / Industry Experience: Construction industry, Automobile and Trucking industry

Specific Skills: Select appropriate paint or mix paints, Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings, Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat, Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products

Additional Skills: Work in uncomfortable environments, HVLP (High-volume, Low-Pressure) Knowledge, Knowledge of the Military Specific paints (Mil-Spec), Maintain records and inventory

Security and Safety: Driver’s validity licence check

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
