Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be week, Commission per hour for a 35 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Hairstylist Licence.

Work Setting: Hairstyling salon or studio

Hair Cutting Techniques: Scissor cutting, Razor cutting, Long hair trimming, Short hair cutting

Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Roller setting

Hair Colouring Techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, Streaking/highlights

Additional Skills: Book appointments, Perform cashiering duties

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Essential Skills: Working with others, Decision making, Continuous learning
