Work Setting: Home for the aged, Nursing home

Therapy Assistant Specific Skills: Provide support services to health care professionals, Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies

Physiotherapy Assistant Specific Skills: Assist patients with maintenance programs as directed/supervised by physiotherapist, Lead group exercise or activity class, Assist patients in the use of therapeutic equipment as directed/supervised by physiotherapist

Additional Skills: Maintain inventory of equipment

Security and Safety: Eligible for professional liability insurance

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing
