Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $30.00 to $33.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Also: group insurance, life insurance, pension benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Stationary Engineering Trade Certification, Stationary Engineer 2nd Class.

Work Setting: Food processing industry

Type of Equipment: Computerized control systems, Stationary engines, High pressure boilers, Turbines, Electric generators, Motors, Switches, Valves, Gauges, Alarms, Meters, Cooling towers

Area of Specialization: Heating, Ventilation

Specific Skills: Operate automated or computerized control systems, Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure, Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Perform routine equipment maintenance, Clean and lubricate machinery and components, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities, Write plant or building operation reports, Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures, Use computerized Building Automation System, Use computerized Preventive Maintenance System
