Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $18.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Specific Skills: Weigh resins, colorants and other chemicals according to formulae, Place weighed materials in mixing machines, Operate mixing machine to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity, Unload mixture into container or conveyor for further processing, Set up and operate calender machines to transform plastic bales or slabs into continuous sheets or films of specified thickness, Adjust calender rollers for production line change, Change dies on extruding machines according to production line change, Prepare and Change moulds and adjust equipment for production line change, Follow formulation card to mix resin batches for injection moulding process

Additional Skills: Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment, Monitor and inspect quality of material produced, Supervisory Experience, Maintain records and inventory

Security and Safety: Criminal record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Manual dexterity, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination, Fast-paced environment

Other Information: Injection molding experience is a must. Also should be experienced with Engle, Battenfeld and Cincinnati machines.
