Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $20.00 to $25.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).

Type of Equipment Repair: Heavy construction equipment, Cranes, Forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, Service attachments and working tools

Additional Skills: Keep maintenance reports and documentation, Welding experience

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam, Drug test, Driver’s validity license check
