Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Type of Travel: Long-haul, International

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Owner-operator business skills

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver’s licence

Other Information: DEDICATED Ohio runs, round trips. Majority of lanes are dry van, some flat bed work available.
