Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working nights.

Salary: will be $14.57 per hour for a 30 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Work Setting: Trucking company, Warehouse, Cross-docking facility

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Towmotors

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Weigh materials and goods, Wrap goods, Sort goods, Stack goods, Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products

Additional Skills: Build pallets, Ship orders

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Hot, Cold/refrigerated

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others
