Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be $14.00 to $16.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Also: medical, dental, group insurance benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant

Type of Machine Experience: Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Type of Special Purpose or Mass Production Machine Tools: Form cutting machines, Gear cutting machines

Type of Repetitive Machining Operation Experience: Turning, Milling, Drilling, Boring, Grinding

Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Security and Safety: Medical exam

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle
