Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Red Cross Babysitting course.

Children’s Ages: Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years), School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Help children with homework, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided

Other Information: The Nanny will be caring for 3 children.
