Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Specific Skills: Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die, Change dies on extruding machines according to production line change, Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products, Prepare and Change moulds and adjust equipment for production line change

Additional Skills: Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment, Monitor and inspect quality of material produced, Maintain records and inventory, Pack items for shipping and distribution, Robotics and Programming knowledge

Security and Safety: Criminal record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Ability to distinguish between colours, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination, Fast-paced environment
