Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.

Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency

Area of Specialization: Public and community health

Specific Skills: Co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services, Ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed, Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures

Additional Skills - 2: Ensure availability of supplies and equipment, Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information: You will provide key support to our Personal Support programs in Niagara Region. An RPN designation is required. Community is preferred & 2-5 yrs of supervisory exp is required.
