Specific Skills: Prepare estimates of labour and material costs, Prepare bill of material, Prepare master format estimates (Class A), Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D), Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors, Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, Project cash flow and financing requirements, Estimate pre-contract costs, Select sub-trades, Utilize quantity take-off procedures, Advise on tendering procedures, Analyze tenders and recommend awards, Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems, Monitor and adjust contract expenditures

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects, Operate CADD systems
