Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS, Driver’s License, Propane in Construction Record of Training.

Area of Specialization: Waterproofing, Decorative finishing, Stain removal and cleaning, Floor finishing, High tolerance floors

Materials Used: Hardners and epoxies, Colours and sealers

Specific Skills: Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Estimate labour and material costs, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers

Security and Safety: Bondable, Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles
