Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be $22.00 to $25.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification.

Tool and Die Fabrication Experience: Jigs and fixtures, Compound or progressive transfer dies

Specific Skills: Machine tools to close tolerances, Verify dimensions of machine parts, Fabricate gauges, dies and moulds, Machine, fit and assemble parts, Set up machine tools

Additional Skills: Read blueprint, schemas and drawings, Instruct apprentices

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Work Location Information: In shop
