Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be $14.00 to $17.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Canadian Nursery Trades Association (CNTA) Certification.

Work Setting: Commercial establishment, Private home, Institution (hospital, school or church), Landscape maintenance

Type of Machinery or Equipment: Chain saw, Tractor mower, Sod cutter, Weed trimmer/edger, Roto-tiller, Tractor, Gravel or dump truck, Snow removal truck, Pick-up truck, Small engine equipment

Specific Skills: Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, Cut grass, Rake/ collect refuse, Remove litter and garbage, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Lay sod or seed, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, Apply fertilizers, Water lawns/gardens, Repair and maintain equipment, Write daily basic progress reports

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
