Salary: will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week. Education: The applicant should have completed high school. Experience: at least three years’ experience. Work Setting: Plastic products manufacturers Supervisory Experience: Plastics processing machine operators, Plastic products assemblers, finishers and inspectors Specific Skills: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of production workers who operate processing machines and who fabricate, assemble, finish or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products, Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units, Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Additional Skills: Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions, Prepare production and other reports, Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available Ability to Supervise: 20 people or less Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning Other Information: Serious inquiries only.
