Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $14.00 per hour for a 44 hour week.

Type of Equipment: Power grinder, Slicing machine, Band saw, Manual cutting utensil

Specific Skills: Cut carcasses, sides and quarters, Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, Remove bones from meat, Cut poultry into parts, Grind meats, Prepare special orders, Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood

Additional Skills: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, Wrap and package prepared meats, Weigh meats for sale, Supervise other butchers and meat cutters, Train meat cutters

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination
